    About Hawaii

    Hawaii is a small and very popular tourist site that contains of many different islands. Hawaii contains 19 islands and atolls while having a large amount of islets which together are known as the Hawaiian Islands. Adding all the islands and atolls together will give you a number of 137 totals of islands and atolls. This includes the islets offshore of the main islands as well. These islands are located in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean; this network of islands extends for about a thousand and five hundred miles.

    There are eight main Hawaiian Islands named Hawaii, Maui, Kahoolawe, Lanai, Molokai, Oahu, Kauai and Niihau. These eight Hawaiian Islands together can be easily identified as the Hawaiian Windward islands. The smaller islands, atolls and also reefs are called the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands or better known as Hawaiian Leeward Islands. Hawaii is the biggest island in the Hawaiian Island network and is the most known island in the network across the world.

    Many would love to visit Hawaii in their lifetime because they have said that the Hawaiian island is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Even though it is isolated in the center of the Pacific Ocean, it receives thousands if not millions of tourist yearly. Although there are a count of 137 total islands, only about 6 are of the islands are the popular islands where tourist visit. Since it’s isolated in the ocean, there are many different kinds of activity that you can do in the Hawaiian island network. This includes surfing, swimming, diving and many more to do at the Hawaiian island that you will not finish in just one visit. Since these islands are very beautiful, you should first enjoy the scenery from along the Kauai’s Napali Coast. The scenery can be very stunning and also beautiful, a must do for your first visit to the Hawaiian Islands. Also there are some USS memorials in the Oahu’s Pearl harbour that you should visit as well. Another thing that you should do is to take the mule ride to the Kalaupapa Peninsula on Molokai.

    You can also drive on the Munro Trail on the Lanai Island for some incredible views that you should 100% take pictures of as you would want to come back again and again to see. There is also a long winding scenic road to Hana on the Maui Island. There is also an active Volcano which is located on Hawaii in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, after all, you don’t see an active volcano and survived every day. So these would allow you to fill all your time for the first visit to the Hawaiian Islands, you will definitely want to go back to enjoy the rest of what the Hawaiian islands would want to offer.
