Kahala Real Estate

Kahala takes on the look of a nicely defined suburb with regional shopping center Kahala Mall and the Kahala Hotel. The lots in Waialae average 6,000 to 9,000 sq. ft. Many of the larger lot homes in the area have swimming pools and have been on the higher end of Oahu's price scale. 

The beachfront homes of Kahala and the Black Point area are some of the most expensive in the US. For those wishing more view, there is the hillside area of executive homes called Waialae Iki. Other residential consideration are two high-rise condominiums.

Kahala is a town that holds a demeanor that alludes to a tranquil suburb but one that features the inclusion of the local popular shopping center called Kahala Mall as well as the Kahala Hotel. Lots in the town of Waialae generally average to be from 7000 to 8000 square feet. The 10000 square feet and the larger lot homes typically come with wider streets, swimming pools, and bigger front lawns but also typically come paired with higher price tags. 

Beachfront properties in Black Point, Diamond Head, and Kahala make up the most expensive properties in the United States alone. If a view is what is more desired, look to the hillside executive homes of Waialae Iki. There are also homes that include golf courses in the area of Kai Nani located on a peninsula that is called Wailupe. Other alternative residents of the area of Kahala are four townhouse projects located nearby and two luxurious condominiums.

Diamond Head Real Estate

The Kahala real estate market here at Diamond Head is considered a premier community east of town.  It is located a couple of miles from Downtown Honolulu and boasts a wide selection of extravagant houses and condominiums.  Diamond Head is considered a haven for captains of industry and Oahu CEO’s.  Kahala, which is well-known as the pinnacle of East Oahu real estate is also located here in Diamond Head.

Potential buyers of Kahala real estate can mesmerize in the unique selection of Diamond Head homes available.  Real estate customized to a home owner’s specifications can easily have a price tag of $15 million, especially for its spectacular views of the ocean and the city.  Diamond Head, with its spectacular oceanfront properties along a vast stretch of coastline is truly an experience of both luxury and elegance.

Diamond Head also has a decent selection of regular sized homes, affordable condominiums and small apartments which are built nearby each other within the two towns mentioned previously.  These properties look very well together once you view them from a distance or while you’re driving.

Although Diamond Head and Kahala real estate are premier and extravagant communities, there are charming and warm people waiting for you here, a quality that is genuinely Hawaiian.  The estate homes here do not give you an overwhelming feeling despite their sheer size and quality, unlike premier neighborhoods such as Westlake Village and Bel Aire in California.  Diamond Head remains to be a classic neighborhood despite its luxury and extravagance, although some of your neighbours may be more influential as compared to other places in the island.  

Prices of small-sized homes usually start at $1.5 million, while condominiums here in Diamond Head can be leased for a very affordable rate.  Condo prices can go up to $1 million for fee simple.  Oceanfront condominiums which are located on the “gold coast” area can easily get a price tag of $1 million to $5 million, and $3 million for real estate located in the Kahala area.

 Many of the homes in Kahala and Diamond Head have been custom-built, and a number of them are intended to be renovated.  Majority of the homeowners have decided to start with the renovation process, with constructions occurring in almost all areas.

Diamond Head is really a home for world-class oceanfront real estate, featuring panoramic sights and custom-built homes for any kind of taste and preference.  The arrival of the 90’s revolutionized the building of mini mansions in Kahala, with the most recently built homes having the most extravagant features.  A nearby oceanfront home I visited recently had almost everything you can ask for – 2 master suites, 4 refrigerators, 2 sets of washing machines, 4 dishwashers and so much more!  For a total price tag of $9.5 million, everything you ever dreamed to have in your house can be right there!
