DT Flemming beach is the best American beach in 2006. The Oneloa Bay is a white sand beach suitable for people who want to bask in the sun. You can go surfing at the Oneloa Bay. Oneloa Bay is located at the Kapalua Coastal Trail. Honolua Bay is known for the tall surfing waves during the winter season. Mokuleia Bay has calm and crystal clear water.
Lahaina is a small town located on the west of the Maui. There are lots of restaurants, golf clubs and souvenir shops at Lahaina. You can arrive at Lahaina by taking a flight via the Kahului airport. There are many things you can view including Banyan Tree and Lahaina Small Boat Harbor.
Russian Fort Elizabeth Park This park is located along the east bank of the Waimea river, and was created to commemorate the Russian's short walk in 1816 around this area. Also located nearby is the Waimea Canyon. This canyon is gigantic, measuring in at 10 miles long and a whopping 3600 feet deep, that's over ½ mile down. Mark Twain once described the canyon as the "Great Canyon of the Pacific." For those that visit the area, you have to visit the canyon or you miss out on one of the most breathtaking sites in the world. Located nearby is the Kokee State park, which is at 4000 feet of elevation. This area is great for camping, hiking and sightseeing.
