Hawaii is without question on the most beautiful and exotic places in the world. It's very hard to imagine someone passing up the opportunity to live there when the chance was given to them. The main problem being that Hawaii is an island and it's not exactly a row boat away. Making the arrangements to move your house and your family that far away is going to take an expert level of planning and preparation. Here are just a few tips that might help everything go just that bit more smoothly.

The list of things to do here sound simple enough, but most actually are quite easy to forget until you find that you need them. You will need to relocate your bank account when you move. Sounds simple enough, but due to the country getting more stringent on money laundering, it can be quite difficult to open a bank account in Hawaii. You might need some documentation, and it is best to find out what you need to bring with you before you go, then it is to go back to where you used to live to get it.

Changing schools is important too. While you may just assume that you can put your child into any school, this may not be the case. You will need the records of your child's education and past immunizations when you enroll. When choosing a house, it is recommended to choose one near a school, even if you do not have children, simply because the house will be easier to sell later if you do.

It is easier to bring your vehicle with you to Hawaii then trying to buy a new one while you are there. That being said, there are still guidelines you must follow when moving a vehicle from one state to another. Undoubtedly your car will have to go through an inspection in order to be deemed safe to drive. You will also have to change your registration, and driver's license information as soon as possible.

No matter where you move to in the United States, all of these things should be looked after before going. However, with Hawaii it is that much more important due to Hawaii being an island, and it is not as easy just to go back and get something that you have forgotten. Making a list and checking it twice, even three times will save you a lot of headache and stress later on.
