There are so many reasons why some people in Hawaii want to sell their homes.  There are those that need to migrate to other countries, some have lost their jobs, some were due to divorce, some want to avoid foreclosure, while others need to move to either a bigger or smaller home.  What is your reason for selling your home in Hawaii?  Whatever it is, you should know the ways to sell it.  Here’s how:

You can sell it to an investor

This is a good choice if you still do not want to hire a real estate agent.  You will work closely with a real estate investor whose job is to buy properties and sell them for profit.  One of the advantages of this option is that you will have a bigger chance of selling your home faster since investors are assumed to be experts on this field of business.  Another advantage is that the processing of all documents will be handled by the investors.  However, expect that some investors will not be able to purchase your property at the price that you want, but the price that they’ll offer you can still be very agreeable.  If you are in a rush in selling your home, selling to an investor is absolutely the best way.

You can sell your home yourself

If you do not want to hire a real estate agent because you want to avoid paying a professional fee, you can sell your home all by yourself.  However, you have to make sure that you are very familiar with the processes involved in real estate transactions.  Buyers will do directly to you and you will transact business with them without the presence of any other persons.  The only third party that will be involved is the title company who has the responsibility to receive the buyer’s payment as well as transferring the title to the new owner.

You can hire a real estate agent

When you hire a real estate agent, you will definitely have to pay a professional fee.  In case the agent was able to sell your home, he gets at least 6% cut from the total price of the property sold.  Hiring a real estate agent will mean that you have to get the services of a good one - you do not want to entrust your property to someone who does not have enough real estate experience, right?  6% is quite high, but it will be worth it if you have found a good agent.
