If you turn right at the Lower Nahiku Road, you will come to a church. As you walk to the Nahiku tree house, you can enjoy the picturesque scenery. If you are an adventurous person, you can hire the local guide to take you to spectacular places in Nahiku. The Red Sands Beach is situated in Hana, which are a few miles away from Nahiku.
Another nearby beach in Hana is the Hamoa Beach. Red Sands Beach is a remote beach surrounded by volcano scenery. It is called Red Sands Beach because the sand on the shore is red in color. The volcanic reef prevents the beach from having large waves. With the protection of the volcanic reef, visitors can dive into the beach and snorkel. You can swim in the reef area and watch schools of tropical fishes. Hamoa Beach is a sandy and pristine beach that receives a substantial amount of waves. It is a great beach for people who want to perform activities such as body surfing, and boogie boarding.
