Real Estate in Kahakuloa 

This is one of the most secluded areas and a very small village. The roads are difficult to travel which keeps tourists on other more accessible areas. Narrow roads, sometimes able to fit only one car are common here. Some interesting places are Kahaluloa Head and Ku'u Kahuli'anapa, local hillsides, and also the Olivine Pool and Nakelele Blowhole, all natural beauties.

Kahakuloa is a town situated on the north of West Maui. It features a picturesque scenery such as lush greeneries, and mountains. The air in Kahakuloa is fresh because there are many trees and plants. The people that live in the Kahakuloa are friendly and warm. At Kahakuloa, there are several shops such as Julia Banana Bread, Kaukini Gallery, and Bruce Turnbull Studio. You can reach Kahakuloa by taking the Kahekili Highway. In the past, people accessed the tow through the Honoapiilani Highway. Kahekili Highway is also known as Highway 340. After the mile marker 16, you will see a large boulder. The boulder, also called Bellstone can create a bell sound if it is hit in the right place. To create the bell sound, you must hit the right side of the rock.

If you walk a little further, you will come to a dirt road. Following the dirt road will take you to the Olivine Pools. The Olivine Pools is a lava formation. The structure of the Olivine Pools allows water to be stored inside the rocks when the ocean has a calm surfing wave. In the lava rock, there are many pieces of gem olivine. As you travel on the dirt road, you can take a look at the surrounding scenery. If you stand at the mile marker 15, you can get an overview look of the Kahakuloa village. There is a place on the other side of the Kahakuloa village where you can climb and view the village.

Kahakuloa village is a remote village with few people living in it. More than 100 people and households are living at the Kahakuloa village. There are 2 churches at Kahakuloa. Several roadside stands including the Panini Pua Kea fruit stand can be found at Kahakuloa Village. The Kahakuloa Bay can find the Ululani stall. The Ululani stall offers sodas, snacks and etc.  The wife of Richard Hoopii opens the Ululan stall. Richard Hoopii is a member of the Hoopii Brothers. There is no gas station at the Village of Kahakuloa. There is also no restaurant at the village.
