When purchasing a house you will find that many factors play a role in the pricing. Those that have a scenic view tend to sell at a premium above compared to those homes that do not have a view. If you are buying a house not only to live in but as a future investment a view can either add an extra high figure amount to the price tag or even decrease it. It's almost impossible to determine what future buyers may think of the view. While you may think it enhances things others make not be so like-minded.
Other things that play key roles in houses with views is the actual location. If its a tourist area where people often move to specifically for the views such as overlooking a water front, mountains, or even a city then it would probably be investment to purchase a house with a view if found at a reasonable price.
Otherwise its a gamble when buying a house overpriced just because of the view. Choose wisely.
